Advice for schools and colleges

The 香蕉直播 outreach programme provides students with meaningful, engaging contact and experiences with the university.

We can work with you to tailor our programme of online activities and resources to suit your students. Activities are delivered by both university staff and our student ambassadors.

We work with schools, colleges and sixth forms to help students make informed decisions about going to university. At Brighton, we encourage students from all backgrounds to see higher education as an achievable option.

We are pleased to be able to deliver activities again face-to–face with students in schools and colleges. Alongside in-person delivery, resources developed to support students, parents carers and practitioners are still available to watch on demand.

In addition to delivering events in schools we can now offer online activities, which focus on applying to university, choosing the right course, and student life and finances. Live online Unibuddy sessions and subject tasters running online now.

Primary and secondary schools

As part of our commitment to widening participation, we work in partnership with schools to raise awareness of opportunities in higher education with pupils in years 5–11.

Colleges and sixth forms

We offer a programme that helps students, teachers and advisers to navigate choices and applications for university. This includes online events, activities, advice and training.

Online events and activities

Our events and activities fit around the academic calendar to help inform and engage students about higher education, from summer schools and taster sessions to personal statement advice.

Our programme for primary schools includes interactive workshops with year 6 children plus campus visits and taster sessions of university courses.

We run a wide range of summer schools, including fashion in which students produce their own work. These events are running online this year.

Saturday clubs for years 7鈥�10 include a Formula 24 club run by our engineers, where small teams build a car to be raced at Goodwood.

Student ambassadors are on hand at many of our events to give firsthand knowledge of what university life is like.

Taster sessions give students an insight into an area of their choice, such as this talk on feminism by humanities lecturer, Deborah Madden.

Our staff are on-hand to give careers advice to all students, whether studying A-levels or Access courses, to help them make the right choice for their career.
