Today over 1,300 donors are needed per year in the UK and Ireland, and one single body donation could affect the lives of around ten million patients.

Professor Claire Smith explores lessons from the deceased, examining what motivates donors and why donors are still needed to train medical and allied health care students today.

Professor Smith will explain the latest thinking on how students learn anatomy with examples from all over the human body, highlighting our individuality and why we are not textbooks.
