Legacy Giving
Making a will is one of the most important tasks any of us undertake in our lives. It is the only way to ensure that our loved ones are taken care of and our assets are distributed according to our wishes after our passing.
When writing a will, and after making provision for your loved ones, leaving a charitable gift in your will is an excellent way to support the Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯.
Your support can be directed to any aspect of the university’s work that resonates personally, whether that is our research, improving teaching facilities or ensuring all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We are unable to offer any formal legal or financial advice on will making or estate planning as we are not qualified advisors, however we have put together a few useful resources:
- A legacy giving FAQ
- A you can use to add a gift to your existing will
We would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about your legacy wishes and intentions. This will help us understand what you would like your legacy to achieve and ensure we can fulfil your intentions. We will also be able to acknowledge your decision and thank you in a way in which you are comfortable. We will always respect your wishes and understand if you would prefer to remain anonymous.
