Alongside Brighton Trans Pride (20–22 July 2018), this year’s Annual Brighton Trans, Non-Binary and Intersex Conference seeks to bring trans, non-binary and intersex people, researchers, allies and those who want to work better with these communities together to work towards making a more trans, non-binary and intersex inclusive society.
The conference invites trans, non-binary and intersex people; researchers; people from the public; community and voluntary sector; and those who want to know more about trans lives and issues to this year’s event. Building on previous success, the 2018 conference will be a two day event and organisers have linked up with to improve the representation of intersex issues within the programme including a panel, films and Q+A.
Keynote speakers include:
- Professor Stephen Whittle (Manchester Metropolitan University)
- Holly Greenbury and Dawn Vago (Intersex UK)
- Monroe (Model, activist and Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ alumna)
In addition, Fox Fisher (another former Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ student and also an honorary graduate) and their partner, Owl will be comperes for the two day conference.
